I hold a doctorate in Design from the College of Design and Innovation at Tongji University, where my research centered on pragmatic design inquiry: the question of how design knowledge is produced in, and validated by, practice. Over the years I have advised leading companies such as Huawei, Xiaomi, and BMW on design strategy, research, and innovation, helping teams turn ambiguous problems into grounded decisions. I also lecture at the School of Arts, Tianjin Sino-German University of Applied Sciences, where this practice finds its way back into the classroom.
